A Staggered Rollout of the Upcoming Season
The Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL) has revealed the home‑opening dates for all 17 teams that will compete in the 2026‑27 season, officially marking the start of the league’s next chapter.
Over the coming week the league will gradually disclose each team’s opening opponents, building anticipation before the complete regular‑season schedule is published on Friday, July 24.
Ken Andrews, a member of the Board of Governors and the FPHL Operating Committee, explained that the phased approach is designed to keep fans engaged and to provide a steady stream of news leading up to the full schedule.
The league is gearing up for its 17th season, a milestone that underscores its growth since inception. Officials reiterated a commitment to expanding the sport, developing talent and supporting professional hockey in the communities where clubs are based.

The FPHL operates as a professional single‑A minor hockey league, with member clubs spread across the United States, from the Northeast to the Midwest and beyond, including stops in cities such as Binghamton, Baton Rouge, Blue Ridge, Columbus, Danbury, Fresno, Indiana, Mid‑South, Minnesota, Monroe, Motor City, Oceanside, Port Huron, Stockton, Topeka, Twin City and Watertown.
