Bulldog Basketball Embraces New Leadership
Ferris State University’s 23rd annual golf outing turned into a celebration of tradition, community and forward momentum as the Bulldogs’ alumni network converged on the campus grounds.
New head coach Brooks Miller took the opportunity to thank the university’s alumni for their unwavering support, emphasizing the significance of the occasion as he steps into his new role.
The event featured the return of members from the 2018 NCAA Division II National Championship team, including Peter Firlik and Noah King, who shared reflections on the program’s legacy and the fresh energy introduced by Miller and his staff.
University President Bill Pink praised Miller’s immediate impact, noting the growing influence of the program and the importance of the relationships that define Bulldog Basketball.

Former graduate Ben Davidson, a Detroit native, expressed his enthusiasm for the direction the team is headed under Miller’s guidance, while Grand Rapids native Peter Firlik highlighted the enduring community spirit that has long characterized the Bulldogs.
