The Indiana Fever are set to make a splash on the international stage as three of its own — star guard Caitlin Clark, forward Aliyah Boston and head coach Stephanie White — join the USA Basketball contingent heading to the FIBA World Cup in Germany next month.
A New Era for the Fever
The 12‑player Team USA roster, announced by USA Basketball, blends veteran talent with emerging stars, featuring names such as Paige Bueckers, Napheesa Collier, Kahleah Copper, Chelsea Gray, Rhyne Howard, Kelsey Plum, Angel Reese, Breanna Stewart, A'ja Wilson and Jackie Young alongside Clark and Boston.
Both Clark and Boston have already tasted senior national team action, having attended Olympic qualifying camps and narrowly missed the Paris Games, but the World Cup will mark their first full participation on a senior roster, a milestone that has sparked both excitement and debate among fans.
The tournament runs from September 4 to 13 in Berlin, where the U.S. squad will play six matches against some of the world’s strongest teams, using the event as a springboard for the next chapter of women’s basketball.
Coach Stephanie White, who has guided the Fever to recent playoff runs, will serve as an assistant on the world stage, bringing her strategic insight and familiarity with the players to a global audience.
