Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) has been selected to serve as the championship venue for two upcoming ASUN Conference tournaments, reinforcing its reputation as a premier host in the region.
The 2026 ASUN Volleyball Tournament will take place in Alico Arena from November 19 through 22, 2026. This marks the fourth straight year that FGCU has hosted the volleyball championship and the tenth overall occurrence of the event on its campus.
A Decade of Championship Hospitality
Over the past ten years, the university has consistently opened its doors to ASUN competitions, building a legacy of logistical excellence and fan engagement that the conference values highly.
In addition to volleyball, FGCU will also host the 2027 ASUN Baseball Tournament at JetBlue Park. The baseball event is scheduled for May 26‑29, 2027, representing the first time the tournament will be staged at this particular venue.
JetBlue Park: A Modern Baseball Destination
JetBlue Park, the spring‑training home of the Boston Red Sox, accommodates 10,823 spectators and features a Bermuda Celebration grass playing surface. Its field dimensions closely mirror those of Fenway Park, providing a familiar environment for collegiate players.
Beyond its playing surface, the park’s design emphasizes fan comfort and accessibility, attributes that align with FGCU’s broader strategy to enhance the spectator experience for championship events.
