The organization behind Europe’s premier club competition has unveiled the full roster of teams set to contest the 2026‑27 FIBA Europe Cup season.
According to the announcement, 30 clubs have secured direct entry into the tournament, while an additional 21 squads have opted to join from the Basketball Champions League, bringing the total pool of contenders to a competitive 51 entries.
Of those, 24 clubs will begin play straight in the Regular Season, with the remaining six battling through a qualifying round that offers the final spots in the main draw.
The forthcoming draws, which will determine the groupings and match‑ups, are scheduled to take place in Munich, Germany, on 16 July, a city that has previously hosted several key basketball events.

The draw ceremony will bring together representatives from all participating clubs to allocate teams into groups for the Regular Season and the qualifying stage, marking a pivotal moment for coaches and management as they finalize their strategies.
FIBA Europe highlighted that the structure is designed to reward consistent performance in domestic leagues and the BCL, while also providing a clear pathway for emerging teams to progress through the qualifiers.
