More than 376,000 young people and community leaders benefited from a suite of programs that combine basketball drills with education, cultural heritage preservation and local development.
A Record‑Breaking Year of Reach and Innovation
The foundation’s Propose A Project platform attracted 73 distinct proposals from 58 nations, while 33 country‑specific festivals drew over 5,700 participants during World Basketball Day celebrations.
For the first time, Basketball For Good activations were embedded in every FIBA continental competition, turning major tournaments into hubs of community engagement.
Youth Leaders played a pivotal role, presenting their projects at elite events such as the Youth EuroBaskets and the U16 Women’s Asia Cup, where they connected with thousands of peers.
Beyond the Court: Education, Heritage and Changemaking
The initiative’s broader mission emphasizes not only athletic development but also schooling, cultural preservation and the cultivation of 830 changemakers who are driving 608 community projects worldwide.
