Tournament Overview
The 2026 FIBA U20 Women's EuroBasket is set to open in Lithuania, marking the start of a week‑long competition that showcases the continent’s most promising young talent.
Sixteen national squads will contest the tournament, among them the reigning champions Spain, who join hosts Lithuania, Croatia, Israel, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Poland, Serbia, Iceland, Italy, Türkiye, France, Sweden, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Games will be staged in the cities of Alytus and Klaipeda, with the group phase running over three consecutive days before a rest day separates the second and third rounds.
Following the group stage, the top eight teams advance to the Round of 16, all of which will be played in Klaipeda. The quarter‑finals, semi‑finals and final are then scheduled over three successive days, culminating in the championship match on Sunday, July 12.
