A Celebration of Arizona's Football Talent
The Fiesta Sports Foundation has unveiled its third annual Fiesta Bowl All-State Football and Flag Football Teams, honoring 50 outstanding high school student-athletes from across Arizona.
Selection was determined through a rigorous voting process that brought together coaches, media representatives, staff from the Arizona Interscholastic Association and officials from the Fiesta Sports Foundation, ensuring that only the most deserving players earned recognition.
The honorees will be celebrated at the UMB Bank Fiesta Sports Foundation Football Kickoff on August 21, an event that officially marks the start of the 2026 football season and showcases the state’s premier high school talent.
Erik Moses, Executive Director & CEO of the Fiesta Sports Foundation, emphasized that Arizona continues to serve as a premier proving ground for elite high school football players, a reputation built on consistent on-field excellence and strong community support.
The 29-player boys tackle All-State Team reflects this depth, featuring athletes from 16 different schools, with Basha High School leading the pack with six selections.
In the 21-member flag football All-State squad, the same geographic diversity shines, as 16 schools are represented and Highland High School tops the list with three players earning the honor.
The ceremony will feature keynote remarks from two distinguished figures in college football: Mike Gundy, former head coach of Oklahoma State, and Jack Swarbrick, former athletic director at the University of Notre Dame, who will address the assembled athletes, coaches and families.
