Five Shippensburg University Field Hockey Stars Earn 2026 Academic All-District Honors

Carme Caracotche Picone, a junior majoring in communication studies, holds a 3.91 GPA and continues to balance a rigorous academic schedule with a demanding practice regimen.

Kelly Naudé, who completed an entrepreneurship major, graduated with a 3.985 GPA, reflecting her dedication both in the classroom and on the field.

Savannah Silvestre received a graduate degree in strategic communication with a 3.97 GPA and earned magna cum laude honors after completing an undergraduate degree in entrepreneurship.

Kayla Snyder, a junior in early childhood education, maintains a 3.916 GPA while contributing significantly to her team's performance.

Albee, Caracotche Picone, and Snyder have been named Academic All-District honorees for the second time, whereas Naudé and Silvestre received their first selections.

Shippensburg's field hockey squad placed eight athletes on this year's All-District At-Large squads, underscoring the program's depth and competitive spirit.
