Sydney Mobley, a five-star center, has pledged to the Ohio State women's basketball program, electing to reclassify to the 2026 recruiting class and join the Buckeyes for the upcoming season.
The commitment elevates the roster, adding a player who is ranked as the No. 3 center and the 18th overall prospect in the 2027 class, and who can operate either in the post or as a power forward.
Mobley's arrival comes alongside veteran guard Jaloni Cambridge, creating a dynamic duo that could reshape the team's dynamics as they prepare to open the season against Arkansas State on November 2.
The Buckeyes secured Mobley after she completed official visits to Illinois and Virginia, and she also held offers from Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech.
