A Standout Visit
Tyzon Swann, a five‑star defensive end ranked among the nation’s top five prospects, traveled to Ohio State for a football camp that left a lasting impression.
During the visit he highlighted the program’s coaching methods, the warmth of the community and the influence of defensive line coach Larry Johnson, a figure he describes as a legend in his hometown.
Swann, who has logged impressive statistics as a sophomore and set ambitious targets for his junior season, said the experience solidified his interest in the Buckeyes despite holding offers from more than 40 schools and planning a decision for 2027.
He cited fellow Maryland alumni such as Chase Young as inspiration and expressed a desire to return for a game and schedule an official visit next summer, underscoring the cultural fit he found at Ohio State.
