The College Sports Communicators has announced that five members of the University of Minnesota Duluth men's hockey team have earned spots on the 2026 Academic All‑District® Men's At‑Large Team, a distinction that highlights both scholarly achievement and athletic excellence.

The honorees — Ty Hanson, Adam Kleber, Joey Pierce, Max Plante and Zam Plante — each combine rigorous academic programs with key contributions on the ice, underscoring the Bulldogs' commitment to developing well‑rounded leaders.
Ty Hanson, a Finance major, carries a 3.74 cumulative GPA and has been recognized as a CCM/AHCA Hockey All‑American for the 2025‑26 season, reflecting his standout performance and scholarly dedication.
Adam Kleber, pursuing a degree in Marketing, maintains a 3.64 GPA and was named NCHC Defensive Defenseman of the Year, a testament to his defensive skill and academic consistency.
Joey Pierce, who recently graduated with a Management degree, finished with a 3.58 cumulative GPA, balancing a full course load with a pivotal role on the team.
