Florida Everblades Ink Forward Mark Estapa for 2026‑27 Season

The 24‑year‑old from St. Clair, Michigan, joins the ECHL club after a collegiate career highlighted by two Big Ten championships.

The Florida Everblades announced this week that they have secured forward Mark Estapa for the upcoming 2026‑27 campaign, adding a fresh talent to their forward lines.

Estapa, a 24‑year‑old native of St. Clair, Michigan, arrives after completing a two‑year stint in the USHL with the Tri‑City Storm and a productive collegiate tenure at the University of Michigan.

During his college years, he was part of two Big Ten championship squads in 2022 and 2023, contributing 14 goals and 30 assists across 145 games for the Wolverines.

His professional debut came in the American Hockey League with the Laval Rocket, where he appeared in a single game, and he also logged 63 games for the Trois‑Rivières Lions, netting seven goals and eight assists.

A new chapter for the Everblades

The organization believes Estapa’s size, work ethic and offensive versatility make him a strong candidate for a top‑six role next season.
