The University of Florida unveiled its 2026‑27 men’s basketball schedule on June 25, laying out a demanding slate that blends a home‑and‑away series with Texas against a full SEC slate and a packed non‑conference slate.
Gators fans can look forward to playing Texas, Georgia and South Carolina on a home‑and‑away basis, a trio of traditional rivals that will punctuate the regular season with high‑profile contests.
Home conference battles
In the SEC, Florida will host Kentucky, Ole Miss, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt, while traveling to face Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, Mississippi State and Tennessee.
The non‑conference portion opens on Nov. 2 when the Gators take on Miami at the Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, before heading to Las Vegas for the Players Era tournament, where their first opponent will be Notre Dame on Nov. 17.
The tournament concludes with a showdown against one of Kansas, UNLV, West Virginia or Auburn, a matchup that could shape early national rankings.
Later in the season, Florida will stage the ACC/SEC challenge at the O’Dome on Dec. 1, welcoming Duke to Gainesville for a marquee early‑season test.
The schedule also includes a home game against Florida State and a road trip to Georgia Tech, rounding out a demanding slate that should test the team’s depth and resilience.
