Seth Jones, a veteran defenseman, has already logged two goals and five assists in three appearances, while newcomer Matvei Shuravin, a Russian‑trained defenseman, is using the platform to adapt to North American ice. Bokondji Imama, who signed with the Panthers on July 1, has shown his physical brand of play with a goal and an assist in his debut, and Aaron Ekblad, a stalwart of the Panthers’ blue line, contributed an assist as he fine‑tunes his conditioning for the 2026‑27 season.
