Thome, widely regarded as one of the premier left-side hitters in his class, posted a .533 batting average in 2023 while delivering eight home runs, nine triples, 63 runs and 35 RBI. He also stole 49 of 50 attempted bases, underscoring his speed on the bases.
Riggan balanced a strong arm with a potent bat, going 8-3-1 on the mound with a 1.05 ERA and 64 strikeouts in 60 innings. At the plate he hit .422, adding 33 runs, 30 RBI and a home run to his résumé.
Draft Outlook
Both athletes are projected as top candidates for the 2026 MLB Draft, a prospect that could reshape the depth of the Seminoles' program if they choose to join the university.
Thome’s accolades also extended to a Perfect Game All-American nod, sharing the honor with pitcher Brayden Harris, further cementing his reputation among the nation’s elite.
