At the heart of the unit are junior Drew Minich and sophomore Boogie Owens, both of whom started every game a year ago and have already proven their ability to make an impact.
Minich tallied 72 total tackles, including 48 solo stops and two sacks, while Owens contributed 49 tackles with two for loss, showcasing versatility at nickelback.
