Jackson was transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where surgeons performed a nine‑hour open‑heart procedure to address the underlying condition. The operation was successful, but he remained sedated for several days as his body began the healing process.
His mother, Joanna Scarborough, initially thought the rapid response was an overreaction, but she soon realized the urgency when doctors explained the seriousness of the situation and the need for immediate intervention.
