Former University of Kansas guard Lagerald Vick, 29, is currently being held at the Shelby County jail in Tennessee after being arrested on serious criminal allegations.
Authorities have charged him with attempted first‑degree murder and with using a firearm during the commission of a felony, a combination that carries a hefty $1.5 million bond.
Vick, a Memphis native who played for the Jayhawks from 2015 through 2019, appeared in 117 games and earned All‑Big 12 honorable‑mention honors during his junior season before leaving college basketball.
