Jason Thompson, an eight‑year NBA veteran who grew up in South Jersey, is now giving back to the next generation of players through the 2026 JT Elite Basketball Camp.
A Camp With a Purpose
The camp takes place at the RiverWinds Community Center in West Deptford, New Jersey, a venue that offers both indoor courts and outdoor space for a varied training environment.
Campers work directly with a roster of seasoned trainers, as well as college and professional athletes who rotate through drills, scrimmages and mentorship sessions.
The curriculum is built around three pillars: technical skill refinement, collaborative teamwork and the development of personal character on and off the court.
Designed for children who compete at a high level, the program runs for two weeks in August, offering daily sessions that blend intense skill work with games that reinforce sportsmanship and leadership.
