According to the filings, the alleged assault took place at the victim's residence just before midnight on June 28.
Details of the Alleged Assault
Investigators say Buckner was inside the victim's home when the incident unfolded in the bedroom. Authorities contend that the victim did not give consent to any sexual activity, and the assault was reported shortly after it occurred.
Following the alleged attack, Buckner was taken into custody and formally charged with rape. A bond hearing that had been scheduled for earlier in the week was postponed, prompting a delay in the legal proceedings.
