Four Florida Gators Earn All-Region Honors in 2026 ABCA/Rawlings Selections

The 2026 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division I All-Region Teams have been released, spotlighting a strong showing for the Florida Gators. Four members of the Gators’ roster earned spots in the Southeast region, highlighting the program’s depth and performance during the season.

Brendan Lawson and Aidan King were selected to the First Team, while Blake Cyr and Jackson Barberi received Second Team honors. Lawson’s season was marked by a team-high 19 home runs, a .312 batting average and a .511 on-base percentage, while King paced the staff with eight wins, a 3.21 ERA and 97 innings pitched.

Cyr continued to break personal records, posting a .316 average, 68 hits, 15 doubles and 53 runs scored. Barberi, in his sophomore year, went 5-2 on the mound, posted a .156 batting average against and struck out 55 batters while walking just 17.

The upcoming ABCA/Rawlings All-America honors are scheduled for Friday, June 12, with the NCAA Division I Gold Glove finalists to be announced on Monday, June 15. The ABCA All-America Team, first recognized in 1949, now encompasses nine divisions, reflecting the growing scope of collegiate baseball accolades.

Florida’s representation extends beyond the region, with the Gators’ achievements drawing attention from the American Baseball Coaches Association and the NCAA, both of which announced their involvement in the selection process.
