Miles Brown, a four-star cornerback out of Westview High School in Tennessee, announced his commitment to the University of Kentucky football program on Wednesday, electing the Wildcats over finalists Tennessee, Ole Miss and Louisville.
A Recruiting Ripple Effect
The decision comes as Brown, ranked No. 19 among Tennessee prospects and No. 42 nationally in the Class of 2027, adds a significant boost to Kentucky’s recruiting class.
Beyond football, Brown is a three-sport athlete who also excels in basketball and baseball, having helped his team to an undefeated season and a TSSAA Class 3A state championship in 2025, where he recorded 40 tackles, four interceptions and six pass breakups.
His commitment underscores a recruiting surge for the Wildcats, a trend that also sees classmate Asa Barnes, a three-star running back with offers from Tennessee, Alabama, USC and Florida State, and quarterback Graham Simpson, the younger brother of Los Angeles Rams quarterback Ty Simpson and the No. 15 quarterback in the Class of 2028, also drawing attention.
Simpson, who captured the 2025 Mr. Football award, highlighted the depth of talent emerging from Westview, a school that has become a pipeline for high-profile prospects.
