A pivotal weekend for the Seminoles
Tai Phillips, a three‑star running back prospect in the 2027 class, stepped onto Florida State’s campus earlier this week and left with a strong impression of the program’s culture and facilities.
He is scheduled to return to Tallahassee on June 5 for an official visit, a date that could prove decisive as he continues to weigh offers from Ohio State, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Missouri and Alabama, with the Crimson Tide currently viewed as the frontrunner.
During his recent trip, Phillips spoke with FSU running backs coach Kam Martin about player development pathways and the opportunities that await a future Seminole.
