The Memphis-area standout will enter his senior season having recorded 41 receptions for 652 yards and 11 touchdowns in the previous year, numbers that reflect a trajectory that began on the family’s backyard field where he honed his route-running and catching skills.
Britt credits weekly Saturday viewings of college football games with his parents for sparking his ambition to compete at the Power Four level, a goal he set when he first met Lausanne coach Kevin Locastro and one that now guides his daily preparation.
He has been candid about his competitive drive, stating that he is far from satisfied with a No. 14 ranking and that a "competitive chip on his shoulder" fuels his desire to prove he is the best.
