All-Star Selections Shine Across Franklin County

The Greenfield Recorder has compiled its annual All-Star list for baseball players representing Franklin County and the North Quabber Region. The selections were made possible through input from coaches and a review of key statistical performances accumulated over the season.

Among the standouts, Hunter Donahue of Franklin Tech emerges as a dynamic outfielder who batted .522 while delivering four home runs, seven doubles and four triples. His blend of speed and power made him one of the most feared hitters in the league.

Chase Zraunig from Greenfield played a pivotal role in the team's Western Mass. championship run, posting a .338 average and driving in 20 runs. His clutch hitting helped the squad secure a memorable season.

Pitching Excellence

The mound was dominated by several elite arms. Arthur Fitzpatrick of Greenfield posted a 2.38 ERA and struck out 47 batters in 61 2/3 innings, while Bodie Burke of the same school delivered 36 1/3 innings with a 1.16 ERA and 59 strikeouts. Carter Miller from Frontier Regional added a 0.87 ERA and 52 strikeouts in 56 1/3 innings, and Evan Tsipenyuk of Pioneer Valley Regional combined a 1.76 ERA with a .429 batting average.

Beyond the standout performances, a host of other players earned recognition for their contributions. Brody Hicks of Franklin Tech steadied the infield with a .294 average and 19 hits, while Nicholas Prasol provided rock‑solid defense at first base, hitting .330 with seven doubles and 15 RBI. Jack Cusson of Frontier Regional batted .375 with 20 RBI and 20 runs scored, and Hayden Girard of Pioneer Valley Regional posted a .327 average and a .407 on‑base percentage.

Additional notable names include Conner Bergeron, who hit .386 and stole 13 bases, Kainen Stevens who batted .327 with 16 runs and 14 steals, and Porter Dubow, the top batter for Turners Falls with a .387 average and nine steals. Matt Vitello of Mahar Regional rounded out the list as a reliable everyday player who contributed both at the plate and in the field.
