A free youth basketball camp is set to take place at the Debaillon Park Pavilion in Lafayette, Louisiana, on August 8th and 9th, offering local children a chance to hit the court without any cost.
The camp runs each morning from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., welcoming kids between the ages of six and seventeen, regardless of skill level.
Coaching and Mentorship
Former All‑American athletes will lead drills and provide on‑court guidance, while also serving as mentors who share insights about teamwork, discipline and personal growth.
Organizers have arranged for snacks and water to be available throughout the sessions, ensuring participants stay hydrated and energized.
Community Impact
While registration is not required, the event aims to teach fundamental basketball skills and foster connections that extend beyond the camp, creating a supportive environment for youth in the region.
