The Freedom Irish girls soccer team capped a historic season by winning the 2026 North Eastern Conference championship, a triumph that set the stage for a wave of conference-wide recognitions.

Senior goalkeeper Sophia Johnson was honored as the Defensive Player of the Year and secured a spot on the First Team, while senior forward Adria Ponschock and sophomore forward Ava Calhoon also earned First Team honors.

Teammates Elle Lezotte, Clara Conrad and Riley Bobusch received Second Team accolades, and Brooklyn Gulmire and Calli Manteuffel were noted with honorable mentions for their contributions.
