The Frontier Regional football program is entering a new chapter of the Intercounty South season, fielding a 22‑player varsity squad drawn from a larger pool of signed athletes.
Central to the team's hopes is senior running back Noah Poreda, who has added roughly twenty pounds of muscle through an intensive weight‑training program and a high‑protein diet, reshaping his on‑field presence.
The added bulk has not only increased his power but also positioned him for a larger share of carries on offense, while he will also anchor the defense at safety, reflecting a shift from a shifty back to a more physical role.
Junior standout Konnor James, fresh from a productive stint in the 7‑on‑7 league, is expected to lead the offense with his quick decision‑making, size and willingness to run hard for every yard.
A Revamped Roster
The offensive line benefits from the return of veterans Ezra Rich, Joey Hutkoski and Max Hunter, providing continuity and experience up front.
Versatility defines the skill set of players such as Levi Pickert, who will line up at both tight end and defensive end, and Landon Lavallee, who will contribute at tight end and linebacker.
Speed and playmaking ability arrive via Ty Skroski, who will bolster the secondary on defense while adding depth at receiver on offense.
Coach Scott Dredge has emphasized that the team's chemistry should remain strong, projecting continuity with last year's unit rather than a radical overhaul.
