Florida State University announced this week that it has extended a scholarship offer to Seven Rashad, a 6‑foot‑5 wide receiver who is entering his junior year at Buford High School.
A Strategic Commitment
The offer arrives as the Seminoles deepen their presence in the 2027 and 2028 recruiting classes, having already secured verbal pledges from four‑star prospect Sean Green and three‑star recruit Majay Thompson.
FSU’s receiving corps will see a reshuffle after a 2025 season that featured standout performances from Duce Robinson, Micahi Danzy and Lawayne McCoy, whose departures have created space for newcomers.
Rashad brings a championship pedigree from Mountain View High School, where he posted impressive statistics as a freshman before transferring to Buford, and he now joins a group that includes freshmen Jasen Lopez and Devin Carter as well as sophomore Jayvan Boggs.
