Gardner‑Webb's baseball program has once again been celebrated by the American Baseball Coaches Association, securing its 11th consecutive Team Academic Excellence Award.
A Tradition of Excellence
For the 2025‑26 academic year, the Bulldogs posted a collective team GPA of 3.54, underscoring a sustained commitment to scholarship that matches their competitive spirit on the field.
The ABCA’s academic honor is reserved for collegiate programs that achieve a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, a benchmark the Bulldogs have consistently exceeded year after year.
This year’s cohort of honorees includes more than 800 high school and college baseball programs nationwide, reflecting a growing emphasis on academic achievement within the sport.
