Excitement is building in Gainesville as the University of Florida unveils its 2026 home game designations, marking head coach Jon Sumrall's first season at the helm. The schedule blends tradition with fresh pageantry, offering fans a series of themed weekends that highlight the program's deep community ties and storied rivalries.
The season opens on September 5 with a showdown against Florida Atlantic, branded as 352 Community Day and presented by GFL Environment. Florida holds a perfect 4‑0 record against the Owls, and the game will spotlight local organizations, championship teams and families from across the state.
Community and Tradition
Subsequent contests bring additional milestones: a September 12 matchup with Campbell University will serve as Championship Reunion Weekend, while the September 26 game against Ole Miss will be celebrated as UF Family Weekend, sponsored by UF Health. Florida has won three of its last four meetings with Ole Miss, adding a competitive edge to the festivities.
The October 3 contest with South Carolina will feature UF Athletic Hall of Fame & GatorMade Week, presented by Renewal by Andersen. The Gators hold a historic lead of 31‑10‑3 over the Gamecocks, and the weekend will honor recent inductees, including gymnast Bridget Sloan and softball standout Kelsey Stewart.
A November 7 game against Oklahoma will be dedicated to Saluting Those Who Serve, presented by VyStar Credit Union. The series between the two programs is currently tied at 1‑1, and the event will pay tribute to active military members, veterans and local first responders.

The regular season concludes on November 21 with Senior Day against Vanderbilt, presented by Regions. Florida maintains a commanding 44‑11‑2 advantage in the all‑time series, and the game will recognize the contributions of the graduating class.
