Georgetown Announces 2026‑27 Nonconference Schedule
Georgetown University’s women’s basketball program unveiled its nonconference slate for the 2026‑27 season on Monday, outlining a blend of home contests, away trips and a participation in the Daytona Beach Classic.
The Hoyas will enjoy seven matchups on their home floor at McDonough Arena, providing fans with multiple opportunities to see the team in action before conference play begins.
Road trips will take the team to three opponents, including a visit to George Washington University on November 11 and a trip to Raleigh, North Carolina, to meet NC State on November 19.
In addition, the schedule features a stop at Temple University in Philadelphia on November 22, rounding out the nonconference road component.
The season opens with a home game against Delaware State University on November 2 at 7 p.m., setting the tone for the upcoming slate.
Early November also includes contests against American University on November 5 and Saint Peter’s University on November 8, both scheduled at McDonough Arena.
A highlight of the nonconference schedule is the participation in the Daytona Beach Classic, where Georgetown will play two games on November 27‑28.
The season will conclude with a three‑game homestand in December, featuring Morgan State University on December 2, Loyola University Maryland on December 13 and Davidson College on December 17.
Overall, the schedule balances home dominance with strategic road tests, positioning the Hoyas for a strong start to the campaign.
