Georgetown University’s women’s soccer program revealed its 2026 schedule on Thursday, outlining a demanding 18‑game regular season that blends home dominance at Shaw Field with a rigorous road slate.
The Hoyas will host nine of those contests on their familiar Shaw Field turf, while eight nonconference opponents will test them across the country, including two teams that reached the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
Entering the season, Georgetown arrives as the nation’s 10th‑ranked side and marks its 14th straight appearance in the NCAA tournament, underscoring the program’s sustained excellence.
A packed slate ahead
The campaign opens at home against Fordham on Thursday, August 13, before the team embarks on a West Coast swing that takes them to Stanford on August 20 and Saint Mary’s on August 23.
Back on the East Coast, the Hoyas will close August with a home clash against Virginia Tech on August 30, then shift to September with road tests at James Madison (September 3) and a showdown with the Virginia Cavaliers on September 6.
September continues with a home matchup against George Washington on September 16, followed by BIG EAST confrontations against Xavier on September 26 and Marquette on September 30.
October sees the team travel to Villanova and Providence before returning to Shaw Field for a Saturday night duel with St. John’s on October 10. A subsequent road stretch includes games at Butler, DePaul, and Seton Hall, culminating in a home finale against Creighton on October 28 and a regular‑season ending trip to UConn on October 31.
With a blend of home‑field advantage and challenging away fixtures, the 2026 schedule positions the Hoyas to maintain their winning tradition and push for another deep postseason run.
