The 2026 college football season is fast approaching, with the Georgia Bulldogs set to open their schedule in under 100 days.
Fans have taken to social media, expressing frustration over the chosen kickoff times, which fall during the peak heat of the day.
The Bulldogs will host Tennessee State on Saturday, September 5, at 3 p.m., followed a week later by a home matchup against Western Kentucky on September 12 at 12:45 p.m.
Heat and Health Concerns
Arkansas Razorbacks athletic director Hunter Yurachek has voiced his displeasure, citing health concerns and travel fatigue after a taxing game at Utah.
The Razorbacks' contest in Utah is slated for 9:15 p.m. Central Time on September 12, leaving just six days before they return to Athens for a game against Georgia.
Despite the growing chatter, conference officials have indicated that there are currently no plans to alter the kickoff times.
As the offseason progresses, additional start times for Georgia’s slate will be revealed, leaving observers to watch whether the schedule will adapt to player welfare considerations.
