The Georgia Bulldogs concluded the 2026 college baseball season by clinching the SEC championship and advancing to the College World Series.
Their championship effort was highlighted by a strong draft pipeline, with five Bulldogs players ranking among the top‑250 prospects for the 2026 MLB draft.
Draft Prospects Lead the Way
Catcher Daniel Jackson emerged as the Bulldogs' top prospect, sitting at No. 28 overall and projected as a first‑round pick.
He is followed by a group of standout catchers, including Vahn Lackey of Georgia Tech and Arkansas' Ryder Helfrick, who occupy the first two spots at the position.
Other Bulldogs prospects also made the list, with Joey Volchko ranked No. 68, Tre Phelps at No. 121, Rylan Lujo at No. 190 and Dylan Vigue at No. 202.
Volchko's elite performance against Texas in the College World Series further underscored the team's draft‑rich talent.
