A Strategic Push for the 2028 Class
The University of Georgia’s football program has added another layer of anticipation to its 2028 recruiting class by extending scholarship offers to several highly rated quarterback prospects.
Lukas Prock, a four‑star signal‑caller from the Hun School in Princeton, New Jersey, announced the news on social media, expressing gratitude for the Bulldogs’ confidence in his abilities.
Prock’s sophomore campaign was spectacular, as he threw for 4,330 yards and 41 touchdowns while completing 226 of 309 passes, a performance that placed him sixth among the nation’s top quarterbacks.
The Bulldogs also extended offers to two other prospects in the same class, Trey Tagliaferri and Kingston Preyear, signaling a comprehensive approach to the next wave of talent.
Prock identifies as a pocket passer with emerging mobility, but coaches note his strong arm and accuracy, traits that align with Georgia’s offensive philosophy.
The flurry of offers reflects the competitive nature of the SEC, where programs constantly vie for the most promising prospects, and the Bulldogs’ early engagement underscores their intent to remain at the forefront of the recruiting race.
