Key Changes Ahead of the New Season
The University of Georgia has released its 2026 media guide, outlining a wave of transitions that will shape the Bulldogs' upcoming campaign.
Among the most notable departures are David Cooper, who served as director of recruiting relations since June 2021 after arriving from Louisville, and Jay Chapman, a veteran of the football management office since 2016. Both men are no longer listed on the support staff.
The radio broadcast team will also look different. Jeff Dantzler, a longtime voice on the Georgia Bulldogs Radio Network, has been tapped to take over play‑by‑play duties, while former analyst Jon Stinchcomb joins him as the new analyst, replacing Scott Howard and Josh Brock.
In the locker room, players are sporting new jersey numbers. Dontrell Glover, an offensive guard, has moved from No. 63 to No. 58, while cornerback Justice Fitzpatrick now wears No. 6. Running back Nick Peal is listed at No. 30, wide receiver Tre Shields at No. 86, and long snapper Colton Dermer at No. 50.
Brandon Streeter, formerly listed as senior offensive analyst, now carries the title of quarterbacks coach, a role he will share with the offensive coordinator who continues to coach quarterbacks.
