The University of Georgia soccer program revealed its 2026 season schedule on Monday, laying out a demanding slate that spans the nation and includes high‑profile opponents from each of the Power Five conferences.
Exhibition matches will open the campaign against Auburn and Carolina Ascent FC before the Bulldogs embark on a road trip to Illinois and Minnesota to begin regular‑season play.
The first home match, dubbed “Soccer in Sanford,” is scheduled for August 20 against James Madison and will serve as the centerpiece of the Bulldogs’ push to break NCAA soccer attendance records, with free admission for all spectators.
A bold non‑conference slate
Throughout August the Bulldogs will also host Milwaukee, TCU and Mercer, rounding out a non‑conference lineup that includes a showdown with defending SEC regular‑season champion Arkansas and tournament champion Vanderbilt.
The regular season culminates with a September 3 clash against defending national champion Florida State, followed by the start of SEC play against Vanderbilt and Oklahoma.
Georgia’s schedule will wind down with road dates at South Carolina and Florida in October and November, before the SEC Soccer Tournament in Pensacola, Florida, from November 8‑15, where the top 12 SEC teams will compete.
Athletic director Keidane McAlpine emphasized the program’s ambition, stating that the combination of challenging opponents and community‑focused pricing is designed to draw record crowds and elevate the Bulldogs’ national profile.
