2026 Season Schedule Overview
The Georgia Southern University men's soccer program unveiled its 2026 season schedule, a 17‑match lineup that blends non‑conference road trips with a heavy home presence at Bo Pitts Field.
The campaign opens on August 20 with a home contest against Florida Gulf Coast University, kicking off at 7 p.m., before the Eagles travel to face UNC Wilmington and the University of Jacksonville in early September.
A highlight comes on September 3 when Liberty University visits Statesboro; it will be the first meeting with the Flames since 2003 and promises a marquee atmosphere.
The team will also host Mercer University on September 13, a rematch of last season’s 3‑0 victory that helped cement the program’s early momentum.
Sun Belt play begins on September 18 at Coastal Carolina, marking the start of conference competition for the Eagles.
In September the Eagles welcome Old Dominion University and Georgia State University to Bo Pitts Field, adding two more home fixtures to a schedule that will see eight of the 17 games played on campus.
The non‑conference slate culminates with a road test at Clemson University on October 6, followed by a home clash against Marshall University on October 9, a team the Eagles defeated last season for their biggest win in program history.
The regular season wraps with a trio of home matches against James Madison University, West Virginia University and the University of Central Florida, while road trips to the University of South Carolina and the University of Kentucky round out the schedule.
The Sun Belt Tournament is slated to begin on November 8, setting the stage for postseason action.
