From the outset the program emphasized a tightly choreographed daily rhythm, weaving together meals, team meetings and practice reviews into a schedule that can stretch up to 88 minutes of on‑field work.
With 122 athletes on the roster — 111 returning letterwinners and eleven newcomers — the squad includes six defensive starters and a core of 31 seasoned players who have already earned varsity honors.
Roster Composition and Player Movement
Since the close of the 2025 season the Eagles have added 46 new participants, comprising 24 transfer athletes and 22 true freshmen, bolstering depth across both sides of the ball.
Among the returnees, twelve are graduate students, hailing from Georgia Southern and a handful of other institutions, while the roster is peppered with a mix of fifth‑year seniors, fourth‑year juniors and a sizable contingent of second‑ and first‑year players.
Geography and Home State Distribution
Geographically the team draws heavily from within the state, with 67 athletes listing Georgia as their home, 19 from Florida and the remainder scattered across Alabama, Texas, Australia, Ireland and other locales.
Fan Access and Media Policy
Practice sessions will be held at multiple sites across the campus, culminating in two public scrimmages scheduled for August 15 and August 22, offering fans a rare glimpse of the team in action.
While the drills are open to the public, the athletic department has imposed a clear directive: any video recordings or detailed play‑by‑play posts on social media are prohibited to preserve a competitive edge.
