A Holiday Tournament in the Sun

The University of Georgia’s women’s basketball program has revealed its slate for the 2026 Cancun Challenge, a holiday‑week tournament that will be staged at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya in Cancun, Mexico.

The three‑day event, scheduled for November 26‑28, will feature a round‑robin format in which the Lady Bulldogs open against Colorado before meeting the University of Maryland Eastern Shore on the 27th and closing with a showdown against Oregon on the 28th.

All games are set to tip off at 1:30 p.m. Eastern Time, giving fans a prime afternoon of competition on each day of the tournament.

Alongside the on‑court action, the university is offering official fan packages that bundle hotel accommodations, game tickets and a range of travel amenities, with sales handled through the tournament’s dedicated travel provider.

The competition provides the Lady Bulldogs with a chance to test themselves against Power Five opponents while showcasing the program on an international stage.
