A full conference roadmap
Georgia women's basketball has announced its 16‑game SEC schedule for the 2026‑27 season, a slate that blends familiar rivalries with new challenges. The conference slate begins with a home‑and‑home series against Florida, while the remainder of the lineup includes Arkansas, Auburn, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Missouri, South Carolina, Texas, Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M and Oklahoma.
The announcement comes on the heels of a strong 2025‑26 campaign in which the Lady Bulldogs posted a 22‑10 overall record and finished 8‑8 in SEC play. Building on that momentum, Georgia will compete in the 21st annual Cancun Challenge's Mayan Tournament over Thanksgiving weekend and will also take part in the fourth annual SEC/ACC Challenge, facing SMU in Dallas on December 2. The team has not met SMU since the 1999 NCAA Tournament.
While exact broadcast times and dates are still pending, the schedule promises a packed arena atmosphere and heightened recruiting visibility. Senior guard Ayla Guzzardo is expected to anchor the backcourt, bringing veteran poise to a young but talented roster.
