Kampas, who honed his game at the NFL Academy in London, was ranked No. 27 among offensive tackles by 247Sports and is listed as the top prospect in England, a testament to his rapid rise on the international scouting circuit.

The Vols extended a scholarship to Kampas on September 19, 2025, after he completed an official visit on June 19. His recruitment traced back to an early offer from Sacramento State on May 16, 2025, before a cascade of interest from schools such as Boston College, UMass, Liberty, Rhode Island, UConn, Rutgers, Mississippi State, Alabama, Northwestern, Miami, Purdue, Illinois, Georgia, Oklahoma, Florida State, UCF, West Virginia, USF, Duke, Washington, North Carolina and Kansas State.
Tennessee’s 2027 class now stands at 17 commitments, making Kampas the latest addition and underscoring the coaching staff’s ability to attract elite talent from outside the traditional recruiting hotbeds.
