Giovanni Tuggle, a four‑star safety prospect in the class of 2028, has quickly become one of the most coveted recruits on the national radar, boasting nearly three dozen scholarship offers from programs across the country.
A Busy Junior Schedule
During his junior year he will travel to a string of powerhouse programs, beginning with a Halloween night showdown against the Clemson Tigers on October 31. The trip to Tallahassee will mark his second official visit to Florida State, where the coaching staff has been courting him since an August 2023 offer.
His itinerary also includes stops at Texas A&M, the University of Texas, LSU, Ole Miss, the University of Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee, giving him a chance to compare environments and coaching philosophies before making a final decision.

According to the 247Sports composite, Tuggle sits at No. 56 nationally and is the ninth‑best safety in the country. In Georgia, he is listed as the ninth overall prospect, reflecting a blend of size, speed and playmaking ability that has already produced 39 tackles and six interceptions as a freshman and 74 tackles with four interceptions as a sophomore.
Florida State hopes to leverage its early relationship and the home‑state connection to pull Tuggle away from other suitors, aiming to create separation in his recruitment list before the senior season concludes.
