Glodi Konga Joins Lindenwood Men's Soccer Coaching Staff for 2026
Lindenwood University revealed that Glodi Konga, a coach with more than a decade of experience across multiple programs, will become part of the men's soccer coaching staff beginning in the 2026 season. The announcement came from Head Coach Kris Bertsch, who emphasized the strategic value of Konga's background for the program's future.
Konga's career includes leadership roles at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri, and most recently as associate head coach at Liberty University, where he guided the Flames to the OVC Tournament Semifinal. He also founded the men's soccer program at New College of Florida, leading the inaugural team to a 10‑3‑1 record, and served as head coach at Valley Forge before taking on the director of soccer role at Central Virginia United Soccer Club.
Beyond collegiate coaching, Konga has professional playing experience with the Philadelphia Fury and holds a UEFA "B" License. He has led international tours with Athletes in Action and Ambassadors Football, and he earned a Ph.D. in Sports Leadership from Concordia University Chicago in 2023. He and his wife Arianna are parents to a two‑year‑old son, Zebediah.
