Roster Moves Shape Gonzaga's Upcoming Season
Gonzaga University is putting the finishing touches on its lineup for the 2026‑27 basketball season, a process that has left just one scholarship slot unfilled.
The Bulldogs have already welcomed a wave of transfers and fresh recruits, among them Nathan De Sousa and Skylar Wicks, who are expected to contribute immediately.
However, the coaching staff is still scouting the market for players who can provide depth and shooting reliability, especially given lingering questions about Wicks’ eligibility.
Among the names surfaced as possible additions are Bosnian forward Harun Zrno, who impressed in his domestic league and at Rutgers, 6‑5 guard Ryan Raad, a standout at Southern Nevada who also represents Iran in FIBA World Cup qualifiers, and Hunter Carter, a Tacoma native with a reputation for a strong outside shot.
The trio is being evaluated alongside other candidates such as Mihailo Petrovic, Camp Wagner, Wei Lin, Fedor Zugic and Niko Bundalo, all of whom could bring different skills to the mix.
Coach Mark Few has indicated that the final decisions will hinge on how each prospect fits within the team’s offensive schemes and defensive responsibilities, aiming to preserve the program’s recent momentum.
The upcoming season will see Gonzaga compete in the West Coast Conference, facing familiar rivals while also navigating non‑conference matchups that could test the new roster’s chemistry.
