The Truck Series, by contrast, will be allotted five sets: three new tires for the race, one for qualifying, and a single set for practice.
In the event of rain, teams have a safety net: Cup teams can switch to four sets of wet‑weather tires, while Truck teams retain three sets, ensuring continuity even if the forecasted 60 % chance of showers materializes on Sunday.
The schedule places the Cup Series’ Dollar Tree 301 at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, followed by the Truck Series’ Team EJP 175 at 1:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, giving fans a compact weekend of short‑track action on the 1‑mile New Hampshire oval.
