Grandview Speedway to Host NASCAR Local Racing Series Event This Saturday

Modified, Sportsman and Vintage divisions headline a night of racing, trivia and driver meet‑and‑greet

The summer season at Grandview Speedway kicks off with a high‑energy NASCAR Local Racing Series event on Saturday, May 23, at the historic half‑mile track in Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania. Gates open at 4 p.m., warm‑ups begin at 6:30 p.m., and the green flag drops at 7:30 p.m., promising a full slate of on‑track action for fans of all ages.

A Night of Speed and Community

The program showcases three distinct divisions: the high‑performance T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment NASCAR Modifieds, the competitive NASCAR Sportsman cars, and the nostalgic Outlaw Racing Series Vintage machines. Each division will run its own feature race — 30 laps for the Modifieds, 25 laps for the Sportsmans and 15 laps for the Vintage cars — delivering a varied and exciting spectacle.

Beyond the racing, the event includes a fan‑focused trivia night where participants can win prizes, and a meet‑and‑greet session with drivers Ryan Graver and Jimmy Leiby, giving the community a chance to connect directly with the sport’s rising talent.

Admission is priced at $20 for adults, $10 for students aged 10‑15, and free for children under nine. Pit admission costs $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non‑members, providing access to the garage area where teams prepare their cars.

Looking ahead, Grandview Speedway will host a double‑header on May 30, followed by match races on June 20 and July 4. The June 20 event, dubbed the Low Down Throw Down, features a $500 top prize and additional awards, with sponsors such as MB Roofing, Baer Den Farms and American Racer supporting the weekend’s competition.

The speedway, which has been a racing hub since the 1960s and is located at 43 Passmore Road, Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania, continues to attract regional talent. Notably, Brad Brightbill became the first repeat winner in the Sportsman division this season, while no driver has yet secured back‑to‑back victories in the Modified class.
