Under his guidance the Gamblers climbed to third place in the Eastern Conference, while also securing a top‑three ranking in league attendance, averaging 3,840 fans per game.
Community Investment and Attendance Growth
The organization also gave back, contributing more than $250,000 to local youth sports programs and charitable causes, reinforcing its commitment to the Green Bay community.
Attendance figures reflected the positive momentum, positioning the team third among all USHL clubs in average game turnout.
Player Development and Coaching Leadership
The club’s on‑ice success was complemented by a robust player‑development pipeline, highlighted by three Gamblers prospects being selected in the 2026 NHL Draft.
Head Coach and General Manager Pat McCadden, who works closely with Mitchell, emphasized the league’s practice‑to‑game ratio of 2:1, a player‑first philosophy that has helped the USHL produce more than 315 NHL draft picks since 2020.
With 90 percent of its schedule played on weekends, the league continues to prioritize fan accessibility while maintaining a competitive schedule.
